The food is great probably the best I have had in a long time. The cheese plate and meat plate and wine are aweasome. The selection is perfect. It is very romantic or a great place to meet friends. I enjoy every minute I am there. It is the best kept secret in Thousand Oaks.

EXCELLENT restaurant, service, environment, and food!! I highly recommend this to those that like a change of pace and don't mind spending a little more than the norm for dinner. Trust me the slight increase in price is more than worth the amount of extras this place has over a regular run of the mill "Italian restaurant".
The service is the first thing that comes to mind, every member of the staff is helpful courteous and willing to go out of their way to make it an memorable experience every visit. The food, the food where to start.... I have been to the Sherman Oaks location on multiple occasions and make it a point to try something new every time, I have yet to be disappointed. The appetizers are excellent, the bruschetta, sauteed mushrooms, and shrimp scampette have been very consistent in taste and freshness. A bit of a warning, they are ample in size, enough so to feed a party of 4.
The entries are excellent as well. My girlfriend prefers the Chicken Parmesan and pastas, so she orders them every visit, creature of habit or good judge of quality? You be the judge. The most recent visit I tried the Special, Chilean Sea Bass. It was the best fish platter i have ever had at a chain restaurant, bar-none. I was honestly shocked enough to give my compliments to the chef. The meal had an great overall balance, the spinach and mashed potato base were nicely cooked and complimented the fish to perfection.
The drinks are another thing of special note. The specialty martini's are well made and not overly strong/weak in terms of liquor content allowing you to taste all the ingredients and their purpose in the drink. I am not a regular wine drinker, but i did take a look at the wine list and was impressed at the broad range of tastes and qualities. So to wrap it up, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those who are serious about the finer side of dining and want a break from the ho-hum norm of every sub-par food
Pros: Food, Service, valet parking, ambience, bar, desserts, cozzy feeling

My favorite French place. They always have new dishes to try, I love the fish and filet migon dishes. Go on Wednesday and Thursday Nights to get wine tastings with a 5 course meal. Make reservations and you will be impressed. Service is awesome! The owner is pleasant and friendly. It is a small restaurant that is romantic and a perfect place to avoid crowds and loud, rushed waiters you get at the promenade just across the way. I've been going to this place for the last couple of years and never had to wait long for my food, never had a bad experience. Don't forget to order dessert, I've had the lavender creme brulee, the chocolate crepes and a mocha or dessert wine to top it off. Very nicely priced for the excellent service we get.
Pros: excellent all around
Cons: none

I've been going to this location for almost 12 years now...Slight changes in sushi chefs, but still the same great food!
I've eaten in Japan and everywhere inbetween...Something keeps me coming back year after year. Always fresh, always delicious, always pleasant people!
Extremely good variety of sushi types, creative and inventive rolls and creations. Food is always good. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal here. Every person I have ever brought there has loved it as much as I have.
They even have a teppan room for larger dining groups. I have only dined in that area several times in the past years, but it was good as well. Standard teppan cuisine.
Pros: Fresh sushi, great taste, large seating...
Cons: You have to know what hours to go, can be very crowded on weekends.

This place has been in business since the late 1940's. I started eating there with my family as a little girl when I was 5 years old, back in 1964.
They still make the same delicious recipes today as they did then.
The business has been handed down to family members generation
to generation. They make delicious and authentic Tex-Mex style ground beef tacos and also delicious Cheese Enchiladas that are to die for. Homemade Refried beans and Mexican rice taste as good now as they did in 1964.
Located on Thousand Oaks Blvd for all these years now. Go in and try them, you will love the food and the service. A cafe style eatery with Mexican decor and outstanding food.
