We had Goose and the Gander cater at a 75th birthday party. The food was hot when we picked it up and was delicious. They made a salad with chinese noodles, mandarin oranges and sesame dressing that was all the rave at the party.

The Thomaston Opera House is an amazing and beautiful playhouse located in downtown Thomaston. Whether you want to see Grease, Oklahoma or any number of the plays they put on throughout the year, or if you are in the mood for a movie you can visit them during one of their movie nights (you can even get Goobers and a soda). The staff is great. You can order tickets online or at the venue, but be sure to come early because it fills up fast. It is a beautiful old building with great acoustics, perfect for stage performances.

This is a great campground with plenty of campsites and recreation. There are ample bathrooms and many water stations. The park staff is friendly and helpful and the sites are well maintained. The price is very inexpensive and it is easy to get to. A great place to get away for a romantic weekend with that special someone, or with the whole family.
