Look closely, there are treasures buried in this place. Don't let the looks fool you. They fooled me at first but I stuck around and took a good look. What I found was stuff I did not immediately see. The purchase I made I am still very happy with. You will find a lot of different items, not just furniture when you visit. Parking is easy, right on the street out front.

Academy is great for the outdoors person or anyone who is into sports of any kind. They have something for just about any sport or outdoor activity. They have a huge selection of sporting/outdoor goods. You can also buy your licenses there (hunting, fishing). They have a big selection of clothes and shoes also in children's and adults. They have very good clearance sales also from time to time. I just recently got my daughter a $90 Nike softball glove for $19.99!! Great prices and a very big variety. It can occasionally be hard to find an associate but they very helpful when you are able to get one.

They have a huge selection of sporting/outdoor goods. You can also buy your licenses there (hunting, fishing). They have a big selection of clothes and shoes also in children's and adults. Action World Bowl is the only bowling center in this area. Although it is older inside it's still a good place to go and bowl with your family. They offer bowling leagues for people interested in that. They have babysitting available. It's a fairly inexpensive way to take your family out and lots of fun. They also offer birthday parties for kids. They do a good job with those. My children have had a few parties there and they are always very good! They redid the sign outside and it looks good but they did not re-do anything inside. They have a snack bar, a game room and some pool tables so there is something for everyone.
