Academy is great for the outdoors person or anyone who is into sports of any kind. They have something for just about any sport or outdoor activity. They have a huge selection of sporting/outdoor goods. You can also buy your licenses there (hunting, fishing). They have a big selection of clothes and shoes also in children's and adults. They have very good clearance sales also from time to time. I just recently got my daughter a $90 Nike softball glove for $19.99!! Great prices and a very big variety. It can occasionally be hard to find an associate but they very helpful when you are able to get one.

Bath & Body Works has a big variety of bath & beauty products. Their products are high quality & mid-priced. They have friendly customer service. If you do not like a scent of a product you can change it for one that you like, even if the product has been used. That is wonderful customer service. They have so many scents so there is something for everyone. It smells so good when you walk in there! They even have a kids line of products. There have testers of just abolut every scent so you can see if you like before you buy. They are located in the mall so you can do all your shopping in the mall if you'd like. They have annual clearance sales that are wonderful! Excellent prices during that. If you get on their mailing list they send you alot of coupons through the email and mail that are great.

This is a good book store for people who don't want to spend full price for their books. All the books are half priced the cover price. The sales people are nice and friendly. It is downtown Temple and there are alot of steps to get up and down to the business so it's not handicap accessable. They also have comics and movies. Another plus is that it's not crowded like the stores in the mall.
PROS: Half Priced Books

Don's is a great local video and game rental store. They are smaller than national chains but always have the great new releases. It's such a friendly, laid back store. You don't have the big lines like the large chains. The workers are so friendly and helpful with what you may need. You have to have a membership to rent movies here but it's easy to go about it, just ask the desk for instructions, they'd be glad to help you out.
