They teach gymnastics and a whole lot more. You should see the size of their gym! My kids have been there for a couple of birthday parties - yes they do rent the facility as well. They love to run on the padded floors and climb the ropes. The thrill is jumping into the foam pit from a good height. Lots of other rooms as well.

This is a beautiful country club. The golf course is amazing and one of the best in this area. The course is well manicured. They also offer tennis and have a pool. They offer swimming and tennis lessons also. This is the perfect place to have a wedding, it's beautiful and they have wonderful dining. They offer all types of memberships suited to your individual needs.

Sammons is a well maintained course. The greens are always in good shape. It's a very nice course and has lots of water. The prices are good for what is offered. They offer a special for twilight golf. It's only $10 after 5. They have a nice driving range that is located on site and offer lessons to those who would like them at an additional cost.

This is a great place if you'd like to play pool at a classier place and not a smoky bar. The tables are nice although there aren't a big amount of them. You rent the tables by the hour which is great because you are able to play non-stop. It's a great night out with your friends. It's located in historic downtown Temple. It's a nice establishment, very nice decor and ambiance.

Academy is great for the outdoors person or anyone who is into sports of any kind. They have something for just about any sport or outdoor activity. They have a huge selection of sporting/outdoor goods. You can also buy your licenses there (hunting, fishing). They have a big selection of clothes and shoes also in children's and adults. They have very good clearance sales also from time to time. I just recently got my daughter a $90 Nike softball glove for $19.99!! Great prices and a very big variety. It can occasionally be hard to find an associate but they very helpful when you are able to get one.

Action World Bowl is the only bowling center in this area. Although it is older inside it's still a good place to go and bowl with your family. They offer bowling leagues for people interested in that. They have babysitting available. It's a fairly inexpensive way to take your family out and lots of fun. They also offer birthday parties for kids. They do a good job with those. My children have had a few parties there and they are always very good! They redid the sign outside and it looks good but they did not re-do anything inside. They have a snack bar, a game room and some pool tables so there is something for everyone.

Sports World is a smaller sporting goods store in the area. They offer all types of sporting goods equipment for soccer, baseball, softball, & football. They have fair prices and have occasional sales. This is great if you don't want to hassle with a bugger sports store like Academy. Sports World is great because they support lots of the local teams so it's nice to give support back and buy from your smaller local stores. They have been in business for many years so it's a great, quality establishment.

If you want soccer or baseball supplies, this is the place. They also have league sign up information. A little difficult to get to being kind of under the interstate. Be sure to get off at the 57th street exit or you will pass them up. The store is stuffed full of shoes and balls and jerseys shorts. It specializes in kid sizes so they should be able to get your kid up and running.
