The food here is just as good as any other Texas Road House I have been in Texas. Unfortunately, this Road House had the worst service that I have ever experience out of all the other Texas Road House I have visited. Our waitress was horrible! I can understand if she was busy but she was chit chatting with other employees while my glass of tea was empty for 15 minutes. On top of that she screwed up my order by giving me the wrong side dishes. I guess she could have confused my order of mix vegetables with a baked potato. My friends who dined in with me even said, "I guess that's what you expect from high school students". Even with the horrible service, I left a 15% tip but I should have paid with cash because I had to wait another 10 minutes to receive my bill. Sadly, the only choice I have is to eat here or pay twice as much at cheeves bros.. which I rather do until my billfold is empty.

Temple is blessed with quite a few great Mexican restaurants. This is one of it's finest. Try a Quesadilla. Tres Maguyes has 3 locations in Temple and all are equal in quality. At breakfast you can get 3 tacos for $1.99 that is quite a deal. If you like queso they sell it as cheap as water and it is very good. Great locations, but i think the best is on Adams.

Hands down they have the best Mexican food in all of central Texas! I have tried em all and I love all of them. But if you want authentic, spicy, mexican good that is reasonably priced this is the one. What I love is that you can show up with a party of eight and they look full, yet they will have you seated in 5 minutes. Somehow they work their magic and find you a table. kudos

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Texas. Much better than your typical chain restaurants. Their tortillas are excellent. Everything I've ever tried is absoluttely wonderful, even their margaritas.

If you are looking for the best taste and variety of coffee you need to try Starbucks. They have 2 locations in Temple. I go there often so I can get a Frapaccino's (they are a frozen coffee drink). They have excellent customer service, they are so fast and friendly. I normally go through the drive through and there are usually quite a few people in the drive through also but the line always goes by quickly and they always have the order right. They accomodate every request I have ever had. The prices are a bit higher than normal coffee unless you get the coffee of the day which is a bargain but I feel like all the prices are worth it for the quality of the coffee. This is my fave coffee house~!
