You would be hard pressed to find a better junior college music program than Temple College. Top notch in every area. Each year they hold a jazz festival that rivals just about any in the US. Jazz bands come to compete and there are big name concerts as well. You will see guys like Frank Mantooth on stage. For a town like Temple to get huge names like that is phenomenal. The concert band is also very good.

You would be hard pressed to find a better junior college music program than Temple College. Top notch in every area. Each year they hold a jazz festival that rivals just about any in the US. This is a good practice course. They course is well manicured and the greens are hard. It's convenient because you don't need a tee time, you can come and play whenever you'd like. It's not really crowded so you aren't held up by other people. The staff is great, they are nice and friendly and make you feel welcomed. The prices are reasonable. It's located right by the college so if you are are student it's perfect for you.
