I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in the RV park at Pachanga with our friends who own a trailer. The sites are wide and long, with a patch of grass for every site, a swimming pool & saunas, laundry room, clean rest rooms & showers, and a gambling casino near-by. You don't have to use your feet or car to get to the casino, for they have shuttles running most of the day. If one is needed, and hasn't come by recently, you can call in a request for a shuttle to your location. You sit right next to the beautiful hills of Temecula. We had so much fun visiting, seeing the sights around Temecula, and the beautiful views and drives near-by. Our friends have vacationed at this location many times, because it has become one of their favorites, due to the well-kept grounds and friendly staff. Needless to say, no one went home with any money in their pockets after visiting the casino a few times. Do they ever give any money away!

Pechanga’s wide open, Vegas-style gaming area, adjoining the hotel tower, is a 188,000 square foot casino floor with 2,000 of the latest and most popular slot machines. Rumor has it that the Pechanga casino floor, after the recent expansion, is actually larger than the MGM Grand casino in Las Vegas. I wouldn’t bet against that statement, and it certainly justifies Pechanga’s claim as the largest casino on the West Coast. Pechanga Resort & Casino deserves its claim as the best and largest casino and resort in California, if not the West Coast.

Vegas is awesome, but you can't always make the 4 hour plus drive from Southern California. Pechanga gives you one of the best alternatives within a reasonable driving business. It has a nice, resort-like setting, and you won't find a lot of smoke inside. Plenty of slots, table games, and food choices. If you can't make it to Vegas, this might be your best bet!

This casino is close to Orange County (just south of Temecula) but it is certainly no Las Vegas. The parking lots were far from the casino, the air with thick with smoke, and the machines were crowded and didn't pay off too well. Instead of dice games (not allowed in Indian casinos) there are card versions of craps which is odd...
