I've been going to Niko Sushi for over five years and never have I walked away unhappy. The fisth is fresh (The dude that gave this place one star must be into paying lots of money fo bad sushi in small portions), the portions are sooo satisfactory, the service can't be beat, the sushi chef's are so funny and have great personalities (Riu is the BEST), and know exactly what they are doing, and the taste cannot be matched. This made me hungry, I think I know just the palce to go to tonight! Pros: The best suhi ever. Cons: Can't eat as much as I want : (

The Dynamic duo has been going to Niko for over 3 years and we have also gone to other sushi places at least once a week and with recommendations of people stating it's the best. Well Niko out does all of them till today they give generous portions and the sushi is very fresh. What to order... Armenian Roll, Seafood Salad, Red Dragon Roll and the Sea Bass will melt in your mouth.... We Highly recommend that you will not be disappointed. Pros: Plenty Parking, Generous Portions, Armenian Roll, Sea Bass, Seafood Salad, Cons: None to report

This is sort of a response to the last review. The chefs at Niko can be jokesters. From reading this persons review my guess is they told him the fish was frozen as a joke and he didn't get it. I am a sushiholic for many years, and until recently went out of my way to try many sushi places in the valley. Since I found Niko I have trouble going anywhere else. The cuts are fresh and the portions are the largest I have seen. The chefs are very open to creating their own dishes and more than happy to take suggestions if you have them. This is about as flexible a sushi bar as I have seen and the food is delicious.

Recommanded items -- Baked miso sea bass -- baked seabass baked in the miso sauce, Toro sushi/sashimi, Blue fin tuna sushi/sashimi, Spicy Sea Food salad -- sashimi salad with ginger dressing, Live scallop sushi/sashimi, Live Sea Urchin sushi/sashimi -- Live sea urchin serving on it shell, but they often have them in limited amounts. Try this place and you cannot go anywhere else. For thsoe who live in Valencia area -- they are also open one in Valencia!!! It's on Cinema Drive. Pros: Fresh Fish, Good portions, Friendly Atmos.

Niko is a small establishment, but it has the freshest fish for the best value. Not cheap by any means, Niko serves large slices of fish over rice and heaping portions. If you enjoy pieces of sushi, you won't find any place that has it fresher or more for your buck. I highly recommend this place!
