In the beginning I wanst really a fan of Steinmart but over time I have really grown to like it. They offer alot of modest clothing for women that you just dont find at other stores. There clothing selection also offers petites, misses and plus with a good selection in each section. Even though their regular price merchandise is a little bit out of my budget, they do tend to offer some really good sale discounts which even apply to the clearance items. This is also a good place wedding gift shopping.

The Baby Depot has the best baby furniture you will ever find. It isn't just the typical cribs and changing tables... they offer armoires, convertible cribs which will grow with your child as they age. This furniture is good quality and wont be out of date like most childrens furniture is. They also offer a nice selection of bassinets, strollers, and basically anyother baby items you could imagine. I would definately register at the Baby Depot.

Kirkland's is a fantastic place to find those little accessories to make a house feel like a home. They have a lovely variety of painting and mirrors to spice up your walls. Also they have a huge variety of everything from sconces to rugs and lamps plus even outdoor items too. The prices at Kirklands are even lower than some discount outlet stores too and the quality is very good.

Target is the best store all around to get what you need for almost any occasion. Many even have a grocery store, although not any that I regularly shop at. There is a wide variety of gift wrap, decorations, home decor, live plants, and even a nice outfit for the host, hostess or the children. I must confess to being one of those that buys most of my decorations the year before, in the after holiday sales. The clearance at Target is legendary, and a find has often sparked an idea for an entire party. The store line of products are high quality, and always available at a reasonable price. The store is laid out much better than its competitors, and is always neat, with tidy restrooms and eateries. Also, see my other post on Dollar Tree. I usually go there first, and then go next door to Target to finish shopping. These two stores are often located within sight of each other, and are often next door.

TJ Maxx is a great place to find designer brands of clothing for the whole family at low prices. I also love shopping for things for the home such as towels, shower curtains, cookware, and bedding. They have such fantastic prices and some of the items are not even last season .Definately check out their footwear and handbag selection while your there too.

I always love to hit all the discount stores and see what kind of bargins and treasures I can find. Even though this Ross isnt in a good neighborhood and can be kinda messy sometimes....I always find great deals. I think sometimes the better quality merchandise doesnt move as fast at this location then some of the stores that are in better neighborhood which means the price is usually marked down. I can always find the best things for the home here at a fraction of the price of other location.

I really love Dillard's department store for quite a few reasons. They have a nice variety of basically anything you could be looking for. When Dillards has a sale the prices just can not be beat! Sometimes their clearance items are more then 75% off and this is all high end name brand merchandise too. Also this store has one of the best return policies of anystore. They place a bar code sticker on the item when it is sold so you dont even have to hang onto your receipt.Good for gift giving!

JC Penney has always offered a quality selection of apparel, shoes, home products and jewerly. I have never been dissappointed by the quality of an item purchased at Penney's especially their home items such as towels, sheets, or drapes. It is nice to still be able to order nice quality custom drapes from a store.On another note they offer one of the best varieties of mens Levi's jeans you will ever find.

If you have more than one person in your household then I definately would get a sams club membership. The amount of money you can save is really remarkable. you do have to buy the initial membership which is roughly 40 dollars but if you faithfully shop at sams you will save that amount in no time. Just buying on set of tires can make the whole membership worthwhile not to mention some great food items too.
