Is there anything that can ruin a good meal more than bad service? It was pretty empty when my happy hour group started to arrive. The first round of drinks came fairly quickly, but bread was dumped at our table with no silverware, plates, or napkins. We were not checked on for quite a while. We started to walk to the bar to get drink refills, because otherwise, it took 15 minutes after requesting one. The second group that came in to meet us received their food order before bread or utensils came out. The manager didn't seem to mind that we were disappointed. Pros: Food was tasty Cons: SLOW SLOW SLOW and BAD SERVICE

I have to say this Is an enjoyable experience any day of the week. Starting on Mondays with their 1/2lb burger nights all the way through Friday. The staff is great, the bar having 3 or 4 HD TV's.... More

I have to say this Is an enjoyable experience any day of the week. Starting on Mondays with their 1/2lb burger nights all the way through Friday. The staff is great, the bar having 3 or 4 HD TV's. I am just amazed at how wonderful their food ( cooked over wood ) is, to adding sushi that... of course is great. ALL RESTAURANT OWNERS need to take a lesson from here. BRAVO CATCH 23!

We started off with a really tasty pineapple cosmo from the bar before sitting in our big booth. We took the servers recommendation by sharing the lobster escargot which was absolutely fantastic! We were most impressed with the extensive wine list they had to offer. The citrus vinaigrette homemade dressing fit very well for their concept. The entree was very flavorful. I had the saute grouper with some really good green beans and my wife had as she described the freshest piece of seabass she has ever eaten. The homemade chocolate mousse pie was our choice after our server offered a glass of cold milk with it. We've never had anyone offer us milk with dessert...it just goes hand in hand. Overall we enjoyed our first time at Catch 23 and will be going back very soon. Pros: Service, wine list, ambience

The service was friendly and quick the food was tasty but not overly done with too much flair, just perfect for a light meal. Not much ambience, but not boring either. If you've been to one, you've been to the other. Although the calamari appetizer was the best I ever had... the crab-stuffed tempura shrimp was lacking. We made reservations and waited 30-45 minutes after we arrived. It wasn't too bad due to the great bar. The local fish was good. But we finished our appetizers before we ever got our silverware!!! The hostess triple sat our waitress. It was sad. All in all, it was nice, and I will take my family when they visit and someone else is paying the exspensive tab! Pros: Great Calamari, Awesome Atmosphere Cons: Sloppy Hostess, Too Expensive

The Seafood was amazing! Large plump shrimp, and golden brown calamarri. I had the tempura stuffed shrimp as an appetizer....WOW..it was great! My filet Mignon was tender, juicy and just the right size. Their glazes and sauces are also very very good. Unique. I will definately go back. The service was great. My glass was always full and dishes were cleared off the table promptly. Great Place. Use the VALET parking! Pros: VALET, SERVICE, SEAFOOD Cons: n/a

my friends and I tried this place out for the sunset dinner special that was advertised in a coupon book we got in the mail. They advertised 5 dishes with 2 sides, salad, dessert, and sodas for $10.95. They had advertised guava bbq ribs as one of the options, but when we got there she said they didn't have that (only sometimes have it). I was a little dissapointed, but got the shrimp scampi. one of our group got roasted chicken, one got the jerk pork, and the other also got the shrimp scampi. they brought out banana nut bread and small rolls which were ok. a little odd about the bnb, but it was ok. the salads were ok too. the jerk pork got the best response out of the 4 of us. I wasn't impressed with the scampi and neither was the other person who ordered it. It came with 5 shrimp and a bunch of chunky tomato sauce on it, nothing like scampi I ever had. it was bland and boring. the coconut rice was the best thing on the plate. beans were chunky with weird stuff as well and hardly any beans. the dessert was a not so great piece of key lime pie. we weren't too dissapointed with the food, but it was just ok. we probably won't go back and judging by our experience we'll never go for the regular dinner which looks to be extremely overpriced. the service and atmosphere was average. NOTE: This restaurant is now CLOSED, and Fish Tail Willy's has taken it's spot.
