My fiance and I had dinner at Jasmine Thai this weekend. We both love Thai food and were looking forward to checking this place out. The prices were very good as were our entrees, but the pork in my Green Curry and the chicken in her Pad Thai were overcooked. Not a bad dinner overall, but nothing to write home about either. That said, the dinner was perfectly acceptable for feeding our Thai habit at a decent price.

We've been to Jasmine Thai more than a dozen times, both for lunch and dinner, and it is always very good. It's is not the best place ever, but it is definitively the best Thai place in Carrollwood. Everything that I ordered so far is tasty, and the place is cute. I love the coconut soup and my husband enjoys their ?chicken amazing?. The food could have more ?meat? in it (the shrimp plates I like are always on the small side), but overall it is a great place. Pros: good food, nice place Cons: doesn't have a lot of shrimp in the shrimp dishes

Delicious and authentic Thai food and flavors are at this restaurant. My absolute favorite is the fried grouper, special ordered with their spicy garlic sauce. This was recommended to me on my first visit by our waiter and I have asked for it several times since. The Tom Yum soup is wonderful, as are their curries. We have always been delighted with the food and service. You get large portions that are reasonably priced for what you get, and the atmosphere is ethnic and cozy.

Love Jasmine Thai, this will hold a place on my "to go" list when I want oriental food from now on! I have plans to take several of my friends there and out of town relatives when they get here. Most relaxing atmosphere and fantastic cuisine along with very pleasant personnel makes for a wonderful place to dine. I could have stayed longer and just talked over the tea afterwards, it was so cozy and beautiful! Pros: Easy to get to, parking was no problem, seating was not a long wait at all, personnel was great.

I love the decors of this beautiful restaurant, velvet red seats contrasting with black woodsand yellow walls ... so relaxing... the music is so hip, i feel so ease when go there to enjoy myself and listening to mucic while eating. Jasmine Thai on Kennedy is so clean, bathroom, the floor, the tables, even the kitchen where i have a chance to take a tour. This is a place to get the Authentic Thai food when wanting to have a wonderful time and enjoy every bit of everything.. appertizers... soups, salad. they have summer rolls too... fresh rolls..entrees, desserts... The Service is always great and outstanding when customers come in to Jasmine Thai. Prompted services, Friendly servers.. The best Thai in Tampa, hands down. Not only is the cusine superb, and the staff sweet, but the decor of Jasmine Thai is beautiful. You feel as if you've stepped into a small palace with fresh orchids and wood carvings greeting you. Every meal is prepared to perfection, and they have a list of 5-6 specials daily. I like their version of crab rangoon, a specialty made with hand pressed wontons and a curry flavor. The pad thai is to die for as well as the amazing chicken. You just can't go wrong here.

It used to be so good. I used to come for lunch and order the seafood coconut soup. When I was done, I'd order seconds. But, lately, it's been so salty and the seafood is so chewy! Gross. Tonight, I said something to the manager about it and he made me feel bad for speaking up. "you're the only one who complained" This was actually the first time I've complained in a restaurant. I wouldn't have said anything, but the service was also pretty bad. We never even got any napkins. I love thai & the best thai restaurants are in South Tampa!
