Checkers serves primarily hamburgers and fries. The service is fast, friendly and the food is fresh. The operations at Checkers are streamlined, so they are able to offer meals at an incredible price. We have been to several Checkers in several counties. This time in Tampa we saw a Checkers sign, and pulled in, ordered burgers, fries, and drinks. The quality of the food.was great. The fries are batter dipped and may be too spicy for some. I love them this way. The burgers come in a variety of levels. Checker Burger to a double cheese burger to a bacon cheese burger. They also serve a spicy chicken sandwich which I have not tried. Maybe next time. Seating is outside.
