Dairy Queen is just one of those places that have no replacement. Sometimes I just have to have a Blizzard or a sundae and noone but dairy queen will satisfy that need. One of the big advantages is that they do have a drive thru and that comes in handy. Although they offer a variety of fast food menu items, I typically think icecream when I go to dairy queen. Just writing this review make me want to go get a blizzard now!

Don’t miss out on their best offerings: the signature upside-down banana split and the milkshakes (remember to order the shakes malted for the yummiest result.)
If you go on the weekend, especially mid-day, expect the line to be wrapped around the side of the building. Don’t worry about it though—the line moves fast. If you live very close, I recommend walking, as parking fills up when it’s super-busy. Street parking is usually available on the side road if the lot is full.

Where to begin with Haagen-Dazs?! The ice cream is incredible--thick, creamy, and full of flavor. Of course it follows that their shakes are fantastic, as well. But it's the crepes that are quickly becoming my favorite offerings. They're thin and light and filled with fruits or chocolate/nut spreads--perfect if you're in the mood for a rich, sweet snack.
My picks for the best ice cream flavors are: coffee, rum raisin, and Irish creme.

If you love tropical flavors you have to stop by this unassuming snack bar. They have flavors of ice cream that I have not seen in the united states before like chico, mamee etc. They also have mango and coconut. The prices are just right and the servings are large. You can get anything from a sundae to a milkshake. They also have great espresso. Come on Saturday night and get serenaded by the owner as a bonus treat to go with your treat.

Their prices are a little steap but it isnt an everyday kinds thing since it is so rich and creamy. We really enjoy the ice cream concoctions made here. The whole idea is that you make an ice cream cone or cup with different flavors of ice cream and condiments. The staff mixes them on top of the marble slab counter before serving. The ice cream is rich and they have suggestions on the wall to help you choose a good combination. We are usually satisfied sharing a medium cup. The prices are average to high and well worth the trip. We sit outside at the tables and watch the cruise ships. Seating inside is limited.

I discovered Britans about 4 years ago. My husband is from south africa and was really feeling homesick one day. I decided to stock up on some favorite and I was surprised by the selection. The have many variety of Pronutro-a south african breakfast cereal as well as an assortment of south african candies and chocolates. They have marmite and biltong and rooisbois tea-all of my husbands favorites! The only con is the price-I have noticed in the past few years that the prices have increased dramically. However the selection of specialty foods is pretty good even though it is small.

I AM A HUGE FAN OF ICE CREAM. TONIGHT I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO EAT SOME DESSERT AT ED AND EDDIE'S. WHEN I FIRST WALKED INTO THE ICE CREAM SHOP, I NOTICED A HORRIBLE SMELL. IT SMELLED LIKE THE TOILET OVERFLOWED AND SOMEONE FORGOT TO CLEAN IT UP. SINCE I HAVE WORKED IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY BEFORE IN MY LIFE, I AM ASSUMING THAT IT WAS JUST THE WATER THAT THE STORE DECIDED TO CLEAN THE FLOOR WITH. (I THINK IT IS TIME TO CHANGE THE WATER!) AS FOR THE ICE CREAM, I THINK THAT THE ICE CREAM WAS A 6 ON A SCALE OF 1-10. IT HAD A NICE FLAVOR BUT THERE WAS NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THE PLACE. THEY DO NOT EVEN MAKE THEIR OWN CONES. I NOTICED A HUGE STOCK OF JOY CONES THAT WERE STACKED ON TOP OF A STORAGE UNIT BEHIND THE COUNTER. OH WELL! THE STAFF WERE NOT VERY FRIENDLY AT ALL. OVER ALL THE EXPERIENCE WAS OK. I DONT THINK I WILL BE COMING BACK THERE ANYTIME SOON.
