Al Aqsa is one of Tampa's few middle eastern groceries. I typically would reccomend them for a good variety of middle eastern dry good and really fresh Halal meat. They also offer a nice variety of Arab cd's and so islamic books also. If you want some type of special request for a meat selection you can usually call in advance and they will get it for you

This place has a really great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and their prices are fantastic! The staff is very helpful and it's clean and very conveniently located. I have frequented this establishment for years. I would recommend to all of my friends/family.

They also carry a limited variety of fresh specialty produce items at a fair price too. Lately the store has been getting cleaner and more organized also. They also offer Indian movies and some have subtitles in english.

I do all my shopping at Publix. The store is always clean and they always have everything I need in stock. They even carry a south african juice that my husband loves.The bakery staff is amazing. They always make my cakes to order and usually have them done before the time I requested. The produce is always fresh and the sushi is out of this world. I really like the fact that I am greeted by the staff stocking the shelves. The cashiers are so pleasant. Definitely a very well managed store

Mikes Grocery and Meat Market is a great place to get your groceries and meat. The meat there is of excellent quality and is obtainable at a very good price, other things are some times more expensive. They have restaurant quality meat. I love this place. I would highly recommend Mikes Grocery.

Save-A-Lot will save you a lot money in baby food. You can find Beechnut stage 2 baby food jars three for a dollar whereas in every other grocery store where I have shopped they are 48 cents. The only downside is that you will not find all the varieties. They usually always stock turkey rice, chicken rice, vegetable chicken, butternut squash, pears, green beans. In case you haven’t shopped there before, you should know that they don’t have bags, so bring your own.

I drove past this shop on my way to work for almost a year before I tried it. It's a small corner market with a hot food stand in the back of the store. They make wonderful Cuban sandwiches. They also have deviled crab, plantains, and many other favorites at extremely cheap prices! The Cuban sandwich special with chips and a soda is $2.99. They also have specials for $3.99 for rice, beans and meat. The meat rotates daily on a fixed schedule. Besides the hot food, there are many other things available from a small selection of produce, to percolators for making Cuban coffee, to spices, to staples.

This little shop has everything you need to cook indian food. they also have an extensive frozen section with ready to eat meals if you are not up to cooking. You can also rent an indian movie with subtitles to go with dinner. The owners are always there and ready to help you sort through the various spices and packets. Also a gret place to pick up mango ice cream.

This is a small wine store with an excellent selection in channelside. I happened by it last Thursday and they were having a wine tasting. The owners were pouring and educating us. They used simple terms and gave suggestions for food pairings. They also have a great selection of wine accesories. I would highly recommend this store to people who like a more personal touch to the wine buying experience.
