I've dined in almost all of Tampas steakhouse's and Ruth's Chris is the best. The service is impeccable, down to the cloth napkin that is given to coincidw with the color of your pants/dress. Quality of steak is unmatched. Go with a Ny Strip Pittsburgh style and you will leave happy. Best place in town to celebrate an occasion or conduct business

Tampa is full of places to get sangria but none can match that which is offered at Ceviche. You can chose a small or large pitcher and white or red. They are the only place that puts ample fruit in their sangria and not just an slice of orange on the side. Also while you are there try the ceviche and the almond pastry dessert

Matoi is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the bay area. It’s not a trendy sushi spot, but a reliable source for quality, fresh sushi made by chefs who know their business. As with most sushi restaurants, I would recommend eating at the bar. From the sushi bar you can see all of the ingredients right in front of you. There’s no question about what looks good—you can see it all for yourself. If you spot a particularly nice looking bit of tuna or octopus, ask the chef to make something special for you from that ingredient. I’ve been impressed time and time again with the chefs’ creative concoctions. Another benefit to sitting at the Matoi bar is the little extras. Don’t be surprised if the chef offers you a complementary salmon rose or makes an excellent sake recommendation.
The only drawback to the Matoi experience would be their servers. While this doesn’t bother me personally, some may find the wait staff a bit offish. They aren’t overly gracious, or fake-nice, but for the most part they do the job—I do enjoy the warm, moist towels they offer. There is a possibility that you may need to flag down your server if you want your drink refilled or any extras.
As Matoi is primarily a sushi restaurant, and that’s what I order, I can’t personally recommend them for their other meals. While I have friends who have tried other items from the menu without complaint, I think it’s the sushi fans that will get the most out of it.

This is a great place to come and watch the big game on Sunday. They have 14 flat screen tv's in and around the bar area. They have lounge chairs and love seats through out the bar area that are very comfortable. The drink specials for happy hour ( 5pm-7pm and 9pm-11pm) can't be beat. The food is great and the service is very friendly. This will truely be a Steeler headquarters for the big game.

Cooky entrance. Excellent Espanish TAPAS (not Peruvian Cebiche though). Great atmosphere - Fun. Not expensive, unless you order too much wine, oh and very good Espanish wines. This is a fun place. If you want to sit romantically in a dark silent place this is not it. This a fun place. If you get there too late on the Friday and saturday, don't expect to sit, even at the bar, which tells you its popularity. Though the entrance is cooky and one has too valet (tips only). I recommend it.
Pros: Not for kids.
Cons: Too much variety.

Mel's has been around longer than I have! It is a WONDERFUL place to get a dog! I, myself, am not a huge hot dog fan, but I make exceptions for Mel's!!! The ONLY "complaint" I would have is they do have the skin on kind of dogs. Not a favorite of mine (the skin on, I mean), but Mel's just ROCKS! It's another of the little local favorites! For the selection, price, and atmosphere, it can't be beat!

First Watch is a great place to enjoy a nice sit down breakfast with family or friends. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff is always on the ball. The food also is super fresh and they make just fabulous omlettes. They also have a wide variety of lunch items and you cant really make a bad choice. Because this place is just so great dont be surprised if their is a wait and I wouldnt dare go on a sunday.

Rien a voir avec les grands restaurants parisiens mais cela vaut reellement le coup. tout est bon rien a redire.
nous avons fait bcp d endroits sur TAMPA et Bay area nous avons toujours ete decus, la tout est super
ne pas chercher a retrouver ce que nous avons en Europe, c est different, et c est super a la hauteur d une bonne table de chez nous.
je vous le recommande !...
