Xtreme's regular is 16ounce and Smoothie King's regular is 20oz. SK's kids cups are 12oz. No wonder Creative Loafing voted Smoothie King best smoothie of the bay Pros: good location Cons: poor product

Xtreme Juice is a great place for Smoothies & Juices because you can customize everything. If you need a non-dairy smoothie, then no problem. You can take the yogurt & the sherbet out of any smoothie. If you want to add strawberries to the Peanut Butter Whirl, then no problem... they will do that for free. Xtreme Juice is also the best because they do not add sugar to their smoothies. You can take out the dairy and besides that the smoothie will only have natural sugar from the fruit. Most smoothie bars (Planet Smoothie, Smoothie King, etc...) will add sugar & syrups to their smoothies to make them taste better but not XJ. Go check them out if you are in Tampa area.

First of all, Xtreme Juice carries protein bars. 2nd of all, they don??????t have (or advertise) fresh fruit ??????on the COUNTERS??????. 3rd of all, NO protein shakes of theirs have SHERBET. 4th of all, you can leave ANYTHING out of their smoothies. 5th, how would he have ??????given XJuice plenty of changes??????, but this is the first time he had a problem with the 4 things above that he obviously made up? First of all, their regular smoothie (the one everybody orders) is 24 oz and the largest in the area. First of all, Xtreme Juice carries protein bars. 2nd of all, they use more fresh fruit than anyone in the area in their smoothies. Every smoothie has nearly half a pound of fruit (not syrup, but fruit). 3rd of all, why is he comparing the Xtreme Juice kids size to the 20 oz smoothie that smoothie king sells. Xtreme Juice?s regular size is 24 oz? Xtreme Juice is a local business and has been around for over 10 years, and clearly dominates the other smoothie CHAINS. Pros: The freshest ingredients!

There are so many selections I have to go back every day to try them all. They have the tastiest smoothie in the Tampa bay area. You all have to try them! Ok, the guy who left a comment before me is CRAZY! He obviously has not been in Xtreme Juice or works for one of those other smoothie shops in town who use syrups and loads of sugar. Xtreme Jucie uses REAL FRUIT. The people there are SUPER NICE. The smoothies & fresh juices are AMAZING! And none of their protein smoothies have sherbert in them. Finally, they do have a retail section with lots of protein bars right there next to the register - is that dude blind??? I can't say anything bad about Xtreme Juice. All the other smoothie shops just cannot even compare themselves to XJ. I HIGHLY recommend everyone ttrying it, you will not be let down!

I enjoy smoothies a lot but here I did not have an option to have a yogurt free smoothie. The place was staffed by teenagers who did not even greet me on my way inside even though I was the only customer. Menu was kinda limited. Protein shake that I ordered was severely lacking in taste and flavor. Funny thing was that they had advertised fresh fruits on the counter but they were adding sherbet syrups into the blender bowl. I also did not have the option to reduce calories by leaving out the sugar since it was already mixed into the sherbet. They also do not possess a retail section so I have to make multiple stops to purchase even a protein bar. Their competition down the road has a big advantage in this department. I've given XJuice plenty of chances but I'll be going elsewhere.

I did'nt have a choice to have a yogurt free smoothie. For the price the cup was a smaller size then at competing smoothie joints. What was really funny was that they had fresh fruits displayed on the counter but they were pouring sherbets into the blender! I also like to have my smoothie without any sugar but that option was not available either. The price was a big factor for me though. I think the smallest size was 16 oz and their competition is serving bigger portions for a comparable price. They also lack a retail section so I have to make a couple of stops instead of just one at another smoothie place.
