Knit and Knibble has a great selection of high quality yarn. Some of it is a bit expensive, but it's well worth it! They also carry high quality knitting needles!
The staff is very helpful, and always willing to help find a certain brand of color of yarn. They also serve wonderful drinks and snacks, and offer a couch and table to sit at if you want to just relax and knit!

Boca Bargoons has possibly the best selection of high-end home decorating fabrics that I've ever seen. The store is packed with bolts of every pattern and texture you could possibly want. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you're invited to help yourself, too. If you ask at the main desk about swatches, they'll provide you with scissors and allow you to cut your own swatches straight from the bolt. It's nice to be able to browse the large store at your own pace. The swatches can be cut to about the size of a dollar bill, which is generous by most stores' standards, and it provides a great sample to take home a judge against your current decor.
Be forewarned that even at their discounted prices, you'll pay a fair amount for the fabrics--still you won't be disappointed with the deal.
