This Los Compadres is brand new. It is on North Monroe in the former Village Inn building. It is also less than a mile away from the Los Comp on John Knox. But, according to our waiter, there are no plans to close down the other one. The waiter we had was very friendly and talked to us a long time, Our bill was messed up a little bit, because they charged me full price for my meal instead of the lunch special price, but they fixed it when we pointed it out. In addition to the normal Los Comp menu, breakfast is served here from 6-9 am. I haven't tried it (yet) but was assured that it is not the typical "American" breakfast.

Los Compadres has a wonderful all-you-can-eat special on Wednesday nights. BUT, it's not a buffet. In fact, you order off of the menu, eat your entree, and then order something else! Their quesadillas are the best that I've ever tasted. You can't see the kitchen, which is one of the only bad features. The servers are all cool and friendly.

Los Compadres, its mexican food, so of course its going to be bad for you, but theirs is delicious. they have the only all you can eat menu I've ever seen for a mexican restaurant, and you dont hae to eat cold food thats been sitting out and been breathed on al night, you get to order off the menu, as much as you want, as long as you want on wednesday nights. They also have a 2 for 1 margarita deal; making pitchers of the most delicious margaritas only 6$ a piece. If you go on your birthday, they'll let you wear a sombrero and sing to you. :)

I'm glad they are moving this location to the old Village Inn on N. Monroe....The current location is a little shady and has zero parking. Probably the best thing about Los Compadres are the two for one margaritas (Happy Hour) and Wednesday's all you can eat menu for $6. I'm not a huge fan of their food (just not really into Mexican) but my friends enjoy their food. Just bring some good company, a designated driver, and you'll be on your way to good times in no time.

Los Compadres offers authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. Also, all you can eat for 6.99 on Wednesdays. The food is great and the margaritas are huge. They have excellent queso dip. Definitely give them a try if you are in Tallahassee.
