Cheap and family friendly seafood. The seafood quesadillas are delicious, shrimp is really good too. They have great lunch sandwiches with fast and friendly service. The bar is a very popular hang out for the college kids but they don't get too rowdy so it is family friendly.

It used to be on Friday nights after 10PM and the beer used to be top notch, now it tastes like Red Dog or something on that order...it doesn't take away from the ambience that is CJ's. There's just something about sitting around a big wooden table with a bunch of your friends and getting out all of the week's stress.

I love CJ's. You have a choice of eating outside or in. The food is delicious. You must try the conch fritters! I didn't think I would like it the first time I tried it, but it was actually very good. Even if you don't like seafood, I'm sure CJ's will have something to satisfy your palate. In addition to enjoying good food and drink, you can also listen to your favorite selection on the jukebox or catch the big game.

I love Calico Jack's casual atmosphere and "margaritaville" feel. The seafood is nice and fresh and they usually have really good drink and catch specials. If you're not into seafood, don't worry - CJ's doesn't have that funky seaside aroma that some seafood dives have, and they actually have good wings, burgers, and other land-friendly menu items. Speaking of wings, if you have a serious craving, they have all you can eat wings on Wednesdays for $10. I think they have specials every night, Thursdays are nickel beer. Even if you're not going for the food, the full bar is a nice hang-out. The crowd is mixed but mostly young professional on weeknights.

The restaurant/bar is clean and doesn't stink like some seafood places do. The main kitchen is in the back an you can't see it, but some things like the steamed oysters are prepared in front of you. The staff is attentive and cool There are complimentary crackers on the table, and a few video games including Golden Tee golf an World Cup Soccer pinball.
