I've been a member of legends for over 6 years now, and I'm not sure that I would continue to be a member if my rates weren't locked. The equipment recently got a major update (which was needed) but there are still a lot of cardio machines that do not work. This is primarily what I am interested in. I like that they are open 24 hours (Monday - Thursday) and have okay weekend hours (9am-9pm). I am not a fan of the music that they choose to play, and sometimes find it hard to tune out their selections so i can hear my music through the ear buds. Legends is an OK gym, meeting my base needs (if only barely). I hear they are continuing to upgrade, but it took over a year for them to open the new side when it was originally only supposed to take 4 months. My advice: do a trial membership and see if it fits your needs, if not - go elsewhere.

Legends Fitness Club is a great local gym in Tallahassee. This is a very clean, state of the art fitness facility. The trainers here are top notch and know exactly what they are doing. They play great music, the prices here are moderate compared to other major gyms. The hours here are very good, and sometimes they stay open 24 hours (not always). In all this is a great gym where a lot of students come to work out. The classes here are also amazing. I think this is the best gym in North Florida.
