My first visit to the AMC in Tallahassee Mall was to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2. The theatre that I watched the movie in had stadium style seating for most of the seats, and regular seating for the rows closest to the screen. The show did sell out, and even with the ushers' help, late patrons were getting upset about not having seats. Good: The armrests on the seats move up and down Free refills on large soda and popcorn Bad: $8.50 per ticket Has a few video games, but not a real arcade, and NO pinball machines Update: I recently saw another movie at the AMC and the theatre we were in was much bigger than the first one. It had a huge screen, and was way better.

AMC Tallahassee Mall 20 Theatres is probably the best modern movie theatre to go to for any college, K-12, or even adult to go check out a flix. The price for students is about $6 while for the adults is $8... a little steep compared to some of the other movie theatres around town. Although the theatres provide stadium seating with 18-inch risers for unobstructed viewing, digital surround sound that envelops the audience in a multi-dimensional cinematic sound environment, and large, efficient, fast-service concession stand. So if you want to see the latest on the line of movies, check this movie theatre out.
