I have lived in Tallahassee for 28 years and have had my car serviced at many different garages and dealership. My friend told me about the GREAT service she had received on her car from the service manager Mitch and his staff. So I thought I would give them a try. I was told from another local shop in town I need $900.00 of front end repair done to my 97 Honda. I showed Mitch the estimate from the other repair shop and he said he would have one of his staff look over the car. Pep boys look it over and give me an estimate of $ 280.00 for two tires,alignment and outer tie rod. My car has never driven so great and they saved me a lot of money. Thank you Pep boys

AAA recommended this repair shop when my car wouldn't start, and I am so glad they did. The manager personally made sure that I was happy, and he understood that as a student I can't afford expensive repairs. He made every effort to keep my costs down without skimping on a quality repair job, and kept me fully informed every step of the way. I will definitely go back to this repair shop.

I did not actually have my car repaired, but Teresa was an enormous help. The car my son was driving died while he was on a weekend trip. I had AAA tow the car to 2244 Capital Circle NE and Teresa worked with me to get estimates on replacing the engine. I was out of state (AL) and had to do everything over the phone. When it became apparent I couldn't afford to replace the engine they kept my car, helped me find someone to tow it (though I later used someone else), and then only charged me a minimum amount for diagnostics. There were 7 or 8 calls total, both to and from the shop, and they were great throughout the whole thing - thanks Teresa!!
Pros: Great to work with; awesome follow-up

I read the reviews left by another customer. The could not be further from the truth. I have been doing business with Furrin Auto for years and have NEVER found them to be dishonest. I don't think a shop could stay in business for 35 years by being dishonest. I am sorry that the other guy is such a deadbeat that hsi check bounced to these good people, and he got upset that they wanted their money for working on his car. I HIGHLY reccomend them for service.

I highly recommend Discount Tire to ALL my friends and family. They provide excellent customer service and really pay close attention to your vehicle. My last visit, they noticed a nail in one of my tires and I was glad they did! I had just come from my car dealer who never even noticed! The guys at Discount Tire are very professional and not only treat you but also your car with respect (a must for my Corvette ZO6). I've been to other places in town and found everything from dirty rims to a couple of lug nuts not tightened. But Ive NEVER run into any problem from Discount Tire, they make sure everything is done right before you leave. Even if you have a problem with tires that you did not purchase there like a nail or puncture, they will fix it for free (if it's repairable).
PROS: FAST, affordable, very friendly and helpful!
CONS: Busy at times, can be a little forgetful on what you wanted

Although I usually go to the one on Monroe St., Tuffy is great! I know NOTHING about cars, but the staff makes it so easy. You call, schedule an appt, and they make sure your work is done in a timely manner. They also warrantee all of their parts for life! Great great great experiences!
