I have been buying toys at this store for more than 10 years, but since the new owners have purchased it, the store has improved dramatically. They are enthusiastic about toys and it shows. The store is packed with every kind of toy and I have never failed to find what I need there. From Playmobil to Brio, to puzzles, beautiful blocks from Germany, art supplies, dolls from Europe and wonderful books, this store has high quality chidren's toys of heirloom quality and timeless appeal. The owners are helpful and extremely knowledgeable and never fail to help me select the perfect gift. The best toy store by far I have ever visited.

Great shop for pool accessories and pool tables. You will find anything you need their from parts and chalk to custom made pool tables. They also have a lot of unique board games you wouldn't necessarily find anywhere else. Very helpful and knowledgeable customer service.

I found the best bargains here when they do the green tag sale. I ended up picking up almost the entire Jay Jay the Jet Plane set for the BEST price around. They also have great deals on their kids clothes!

Joan's Rainbow Dolls carries so many different kinds of collectible dolls, both antique and modern, that it's truly overwhelming just to look inside. Dolls, dolls everywhere, on the floor, on the walls, on the cabinets and tables. Every kind of doll from Barbie to baby betsy can be found there.
If you are a doll collector, you do owe it to yourself to visit Joan's. Her shop has been there a very long time, and probably very few people know more about dolls than Joan does.

The idea behind this store seems like one that shouldn't have ever caught on in this day and age of the ready-made, gimme-Now mentality : take basic building materials and make your own stuffed animal.
But kids line up at this shop, eager to build their own bear (or whatever). There is even a sort of "how to take care of your bear" class held afterwards by the instructor, well-attended by eager kids all proudly toting their bears in special carrying cases.
A great idea that promotes creativity and originality!

A fascinating little shop, located in the Proctor shopping district across the street from their original location.
The shop owner is extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of model trains, ships, and planes.

Toys R Us definitely lives up to its ad campaign - there really are a HUGE number of toys there, for all age ranges 12 and under. The baby section alone is enormous.
The doll section, too, is immense. They even have some of the collectible dolls, that some adults like to collect.
The staff is helpful, although they do seem to tend to stay near the cash registers at the front of the store.
The store is bright, clean, and cheerful, and of course filled to bursting with toys.
