You gotta sift through the industrial area to get to this waterfront ambience but it's worth it. After waiting at the the train tracks for the train to pass at at 7:30 on a Saturday, we made our reservation 10 mins. late. It's a Marina! WOW! The wait staff came in droves assisting but not intruding. You can tell that they are all about teamwork at Johnny's! Seafood is their specialty but I had steak with Johnny's seasoning, of course. The cocktails are strong and wine glasses small. Dinner was moderate-high in the price range...but worth it. Johnny's is a perfect balance of ambience and sensory delight...and the location gives Tacoma a BIG city feel.
