This is an outstanding hotel. The staff members are friendly, extremely professional, and their helpfulness is above and beyond. Each of the rooms have a view of the water. The view of the water from this hotel is breathtaking and the room decor is well done. Their complimentary breakfast has a very wide selection of food items from bagels, fruit, waffles, cereals, and all the beverages that one needs. The waffles are outstanding. The meals can be eaten in the reception area or taken to the room .

We were lucky enough to be put up by the university my husband was interviewing with for a night at the Silver Cloud Inn in Tacoma. The location was so great! Our room faced the water and we saw a seal playing in front of our room. It was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. They have a high quality continental breakfast - including danishes from the same company that makes Starbucks' pastries, as well as a waffle maker and lots of fresh fruit. The only downside is that the train runs near the inn...I did hear it come through at night. Of course, I was not wearing the complimentary earplugs provided by Silver Cloud Inn!
