Turntable Treasures is probably the last store of its kind in the area - a record player shop. You can get turntables, speakers, needles, spare parts, and much more.
The store is small, crowded and dark, but well worth going to if you are a collector of old records. They even have some of those, too!

Best Buy carries some good items, but in my experience the staff could be better trained. For example, a clerk who once checked me out displayed great ignorance when she failed to recognize an ordinary fifty cent piece and had to ask a supervisor if it were real. That was something of a shock. True, she was very young, but come on.... a fifty cent piece?
The store is large, but there is not enough of a variety to choose from. Instead, many multiples of the same two or three brands are on display. If they happen to be what you're looking for, of course, you can get some good bargains here.

Perhaps I am the exception, but in my experience Circuit City did not fulfill my needs. The selection was slim, the staff were unhelpful and uncaring, and incredibly noisy rock music boomed unceasingly from the walls and shook the floor and hurt my ears. I could not find what I needed, but I did notice that the prices on items they did have seemed high.
After a couple of experiences like that, I ceased attempting to shop there.
