We stumbled upon this place on our way to Anacortes & loved it! Phenomenal service & fresh sushi with rather large size portions, particularly the rolls. Very friendly service with a view of Rainier too! Highly recommended!

A few girlfriends and I stayed at the Sheraton Tacoma last weekend. To celebrate our friends' last night as an unmarried woman, we traveled up to the 26th floor to Lounge Vertigo for a drink. I loved the ambiance in this intimate, swanky bar. Seating varied from romantic two person tables, to semi-circle couches, to chairs on the patio. The lights were dim, the drinks were strong, and the feeling in there was wonderful.
The only catch was the service, which wasn't anything to write home about. Our waitress wasn't overly friendly or chatty, but she delivered our drinks, which is what we really needed. :)

Big menu with lots of great choices. Decently priced. Would definitely recommend any of their chow mein, crab cream cheese wontons, and the honey walnut prawns. This is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in Tacoma!

As far as Hooter's goes, this is one of the best I've been to because of the great service and the party-friendly atmosphere. It's a madhouse on game nights as well as, quite unfortunately, WWF wrestling nights. But if you get here on a non game/wrassle night you're sure to be greeted by great servers and even better wings! The terriyaki wings are my fav here.
PROS: Nice staff, good wings, good drinks.

Well worn and homey, this place is like sitting at your granny's table! Biscuits light as air, grits, gravy, and great prices. Not for the upscale customer, this is good honest food at great prices. It's busy, but well worth the wait for this downhome style cooking!

My husband and I decided to try Two Koi for our anniversary this year. We thought it was great. The server we had (Cruz) was excellent. He had wonderful food suggestions for us. He checked back with us often to make sure we were doing well. We really enjoyed the food. We did not think it was over priced. We left very full and paid what we would normally pay for dinner at our other favorite local restaurants.
Pros: Great food, good sized portions, nice atmosphere
Cons: Can't really think of any. We had a great experience
