I had to make a trip to Tacoma with friends the other day so we stopped at the Spaghetti Factory for lunch. I personally an not a spaghetti fan, so I went for the spinach raviolis instead, which were quite good. The salad it came with was nice (though very basic) but the bread was excellent and very fresh. And the portions were great and the price very reasonable. Our server was also very friendly and attentive. My only hesitation would be that they really didn't have many options for those who are not spaghetti fans. A few other pastas, but no real options for those who don't like pasta at all. But I guess that is to be expected given the name of the restaurant.

there are no words to describe the grossness of this place. Over the years it has always has bad food and service as it has been a magnet for waiters and cooks fired from other places like IHOP and Denny's. Often you will find hair in your salad, the entres aren't cooked and the waiters regularly pour their saliva into water and food, you can even see them doing this as you walk back to the bathroom. Liquid bowel movements are always complementary with every meal and they will charge you for your napkin, drink glass and the lice-infested, vintage 1900 armchairs you are forced to sit on the edge of in fear of an STD.
Needless to say, if you still go here after reading something like this then you are probably a candidate for the darwin awards.
Pros: leaving
Cons: leaving (yes, be scared!)

We enjoy and occassional visit to the Old Spaghetti Factory. The layout is kind of unique and its a fun place or kids. It is an older building and sometimes it has a slightly wet odor (not bad, just damp feeling). But regardless, the food is always good and so are the people.
PROS: Great deals and service
CONS: damp feeling on occassion

My family and I frequent this place as often as possible, they have great food and the service is great as well. The prices are very resonable and every meal comes with bread, beverage, salad, and ice cream. There usually is a wait, but it is worth it, the best thing I love about it is the decor, done in antiques, very fun! The bathrooms really could use some help though, I always find them to be a bit smelly, other than that this place is a great place to go.
PROS: Great Food and Service :o)
CONS: Sometimes a long wait, smelly bathrooms :o(

Old Spaghetti Factory is a restaurant I remember from when I was a young child. You can always expect to leave the restaurant with a full stomach. They have really good spaghetti and salad and fresh bread. The prices are really low. They even have a nice childrens menu so you can bring the whole family. The restaurant does get pretty busy.

I can't see how someone would say anything negative about the OLF!! They are awesome. Yes, I agree the wait is long, but you get good food: unlimited bread, salad, your meal and ice cream all for one low price. The OSF is better than any others of its kind (like Cucina Squared, and the Olive Garden). The servers are the friendliest in town.
The only downside is parking, they need a bigger lot, and the street is pretty dark at night.

I for some reason I get fooled again and again to try The Old Spaghetti Factory one more time. I was fortunate to have the Lynnwood site open a couple of years ago. Thinking, no more drives to downtown. But Wait Wait Wait Wait...poor service, food that you could make yourself...endless free pop....maybe when the waiterpersons arent planning an afterwork Keg Party, stale bread, uncomfortable seats and a team of softball players at the table next to you and your family. I leave hungry and remember the days when you could get a table at Buca de Bepos.
Pros: Ambience
Cons: no parking, crowded, nothing special
