The Crystal Voyage is one of the most beautiful well organized New Age/Metaphysical shops I have seen in a while. They have a wide variety of products and are very clean & bright. Browsing or shopping through The Crystal Voyage gives you a sense of comfort & happiness. The employees are very friendly and they don't bother and harass you while browsing their goods. They are a bit expensive but most of the products they sell are worth the money! It is a pleasant experience & will return.

My hubby and I spent about an hour in the Glass Candle this afternoon trying to re-fit some lamps we bought at another local lighting company. They weren't quite the right height and didn't have quite the right look. Kelly Smith was great help. She listened to our concerns and ideas, then went to work expertly and proficiently to turn both lamps into exactly what we had been looking for in the first place. Her years of experience were evident in the professional service we got. This store is more than a lighting store. It is FULL of wonderful table decorations, mirrors, candles and other great home decor. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

We want to thank everyone at the Tacoma Humane Society for a great experience in finding a new member of our family. You guys have a hard job caring for the many animals who come through your care. You do a great job. Everyone treated us with a lot of patience and answered all our questions and helped make this process totally painless. Thank you again. We are very happy with Willy-boy and we will do all that we can to make sure that he has a long and happy life.

Freighthouse Square is the most unique shopping experience I've ever had! The building is shaped like a long, long freight train, and that's the motif the designers went with on the inside. Adorable, unique little shops line both sides of the long, long hallway, with 1800's train decor prominent everywhere. The effect is completely unique, although I suppose that technically it could be called a 'mall' of sorts since it is all indoor shopping.
Most of the little shops are gift shops, although there are a fair number of restaurants as well. In the basement, reached by a long flight of steps, are an antique shop and other areas.
It's entirely possible to spend an entire day just wandering and browsing the shops, especially at Christmas! Much more fun than the regular Mall.

I love this water store. The water is great and the prices are good. We pay 8.00 for a card with 4 water bottles on it. The staff fill the water bottles quickly and bring them to your car. The do have a contest they run every month with the water cards but I have yet to win. The hours are great...retail hours and the parking is ample.

Yes - a store that sells water! When I first saw that I wondered how they could have a whole store devoted to selling water, but they surprised me. They don't have JUST water. They also have purification systems, water pottery jugs in various designs, water fountains, pet water systems, and many other items.
The people there are friendly and gracious, and will give you a drink if you need one, too! :-)
During the holidays, they also have a chocolate, tea and coffee (and cookie) area, as well!

Harbor Freight is a nice old-fashioned hardware store, a neighborhood kind of place instead of a warehouse-sized barn. You can find many items you need here.
Problem is, there are a lot of less common items that you can't find.
Also, in my own personal experience, I found that the staff seemed to be more interested in helping male customers than in helping me. Whether this was because I'm a woman and they didn't take me seriously, or something else, I do not know.
Basically, if it's a fairly common item and you know how to locate it yourself, Harbor Freight can be a good place to go. But if not, you might want to check elsewhere first.
