The Crystal Voyage is one of the most beautiful well organized New Age/Metaphysical shops I have seen in a while. They have a wide variety of products and are very clean & bright. Browsing or shopping through The Crystal Voyage gives you a sense of comfort & happiness. The employees are very friendly and they don't bother and harass you while browsing their goods. They are a bit expensive but most of the products they sell are worth the money! It is a pleasant experience & will return.

More
Artco Crafts is a small, friendly crafts store located on 6th Avenue. They're not too small to carry some items that the bigger stores don't have, however. For example, they're the only store that has the means to create drawer and doorknob pulls out of a special, pourable kind of material, complete with ink dyes, molds, and other materials necessary to the craft.
The staff at Artco is friendly, personable, and seem genuinely interested in helping with your project.
The rubberstamp, scrapbook, floral-and-ribbon departments are very good. The fabric area seems to only cater to quilters, which is unfortunate for those of us who need different kinds of fabric. The frame area is HUGE - the number of choices are truly awesome.
Artco has special drawings on some days, where a lucky person in the store can win a shopping spree. I never was fortunate enough to win yet, but I keep hoping!

More
Freighthouse Square is the most unique shopping experience I've ever had! The building is shaped like a long, long freight train, and that's the motif the designers went with on the inside. Adorable, unique little shops line both sides of the long, long hallway, with 1800's train decor prominent everywhere. The effect is completely unique, although I suppose that technically it could be called a 'mall' of sorts since it is all indoor shopping.
Most of the little shops are gift shops, although there are a fair number of restaurants as well. In the basement, reached by a long flight of steps, are an antique shop and other areas.
It's entirely possible to spend an entire day just wandering and browsing the shops, especially at Christmas! Much more fun than the regular Mall.

this is the most wonder selection of high-end yarns I have ever seen. Love all the people working there. Can not get enough of it. "eye candy" extra, extra. Even if you didn't knit or crochet it is worth just going to enjoy.
