We purchased an Electrolux Refrigerator from Couch's 3 years ago. We had problems with it almost from day-one. After a number of problems (parts breaking), Electrolux offered to replace it with a new one of the same. They told us to do back to Couch's. We were less than OK getting a new of the same. The team at Couch's, Mr. Couch specifically, stepped in and helped us to pick out a replacement unit. They helped with the price to make up for the problems we had with the first unit we'd purchased.
They did a great job setting things right! Thank you for A+ support and service.

After making payment on our order, the customer service was horrible. The worst ever buying experience in my life. I cannot summarize my experience in a way that fully details the hell that we experienced.
Two months prior to our needing appliances for our newly remodeled kitchen, we went into Couch's and had a great conversation with the owner, Don Couch and one of his salesmen, Ken West. They were very helpful and very nice. They explained that we only needed to purchase two weeks in advance so as to ensure timely delivery of our appliances.
We came back a month later to order, giving them four weeks rather than the two that they stated they would need. Over two months after our order was placed and our 50% deposit was paid, we finally received the last of our appliances. For weeks, I would call them and they would promise me that they would have the last items in a day or two. I would wait, they would not call, I would and then I would be told another story and that it would be another day or two. This went on for nearly 6 weeks. I was "transferred" from one sales rep to another, each would tell me something different. I called to speak to the owner, Don Couch and would be told that he is on vacation or in a meeting. This occurred more than 5 times. I saw him in the store when I went in there, never was he in a meeting or on vacation. His son, Tony, would intercept and respond to my voice mails that I left for Don. He was not much help either. When I was finally able to pick up the last item owed to me on my order, I spoke to Don, asking him if he would be interested in lending me his ear for a few minutes so that I could explain my disgust with the customer service, hoping that he would be interested in my straight forward feedback, he showed no interest and gave me no concern.
In short, my experience at Couch's Appliance store was easily the very worst retail experience that I have ever encountered. I would highly recommend that you steer clear of their business.

I'd stay clear of their financing. 3 days after they approved our purchase, delivered and installed the appliances, we received a nasty letter saying we were not approved and to pay immediately or they would come get the items. We called to find out how we went from being approved to not being approved and they couldn't answer the question. We secured a small loan through our credit union and our CU couldn't understand why we were denied. Trying to resolve this with there finance office was horrible.

In September 2006 I attempted to purchase five appliances from Couch's Appliance if Fife. Shortly after making payment on the appliances all customer service came to an end. On one of the appliances they could never give me a date of delivery and finally said the refrigerator was back ordered. I canceled the order. On the other four appliances the delivery dates were not met. After installation three of the appliances needed immediate repair. The seal on the washing machine gushed water, the dryer had to have the element replaced and the stove emitted an awful odor. I provided Couch's with a list of complaints and ask to speak to the owner. I was told Mr Couch does not speak to customers and that he was much too busy. I went to Couch's based on two facts that they were a small local company and a good reputation. I will not shop at Couch's ever again and will take every opportunity to alert others to potential problems.

I went to Couch's in 1996 when I needed a new refrigerator and a new dishwasher. I liked the assortment of brand names. The owner, Mr. Couch, doesn't have to limit his brands, so you can a lot more than you would at Sears. I love my dishwasher - it's a Braun - and it is so quiet. The nicest thing that Couch's did for me was when he sold me an inexpensive and simple to operate VCR. I was anxious about hooking up the TV and the Nintendo. He had a technician make a house call and she hooked it all up for me for $20.
