They tried to rip me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9/9/2006

I'm so mad that Wheel works!!!! I'm planning on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I took my car in to have the breaks checked because they were a little squeaky and to be safe I wanted to have them checked out. My car only has 15,000 miles on it. When they checked it they told me I needed new brake disks and that the break pads were still in great condition. They wanted $300 for it. I was a little weary considering my car doesn't have that many miles on it for the discs to already be damaged; plus I drive pretty conservatively with the brakes. The technician ended up showing me some "calibrated" machine to try to convince me that I needed the work done. I still wasn't convinced and ended up going to my regular VW mechanic. When my mechanic looked at my brakes he said there was absolutely nothing wrong with them; they were perfectly fine. I should have gone to my regular mechanic in the first place. Don't go to Wheel works unless you want to get ripped off. more

Good and friendly service 8/14/2006

I have purchased numerous set of tires for my BMW and Mercedes. I have had nothing but great service and friendly attitudes. I always still check the competition's pricing thinking I can save some additional money but each time I find them very competitive. My car has been properly aligned and balanced at each visit. My friends and family have had their vehicles serviced here without any problems also. I would recommend this store highly due to the fair pricing and good friendly service. more

Low price on Tires not worth it 11/4/2005

This wheel works will match any low price you can find in the market and then tell you to get a 4-wheel alignment from them. Don't trust them on the alignment. My suggestion is to get your tires elsewhere and if you choose to buy them there for the price, make sure you get the alignment elsewhere. They do a terrible job at the alignment and then hide behind their fine print that the alignment is only good for 12000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. I had to replace 2 of the 4 tires I bought from them within 15 months and they just laughed me out of the store. I also saw a guy who claimed that his front tires went bald within 6 weeks (eek! $400+ down the drain) and this store didn't do anything for him.... more
