we went to this place today for father's day on the advice of other Judy's Bookers and we weren't disappointed...well, at least not with the food. because it was fathers day we had to pay dinner prices for the lunch buffet -- $25...which I think is totally steep for a meal esp a buffet where you can't take anything home. their lunch price is 12.99 and we will go back FOR SURE for that, the food was really really good, we both love Korean BBQ but found the chicken and ribs the best choices.

Great price, great food and great service. Although they don't have as many selection of food as some other buffet, their quality is much better. The meat are fresh and taste good. They also have nice fried rice, fried noodle, vegetables and fruits. I think this is the best Korean BBQ buffet in bay area. You must try it when you come to bay area.

I'm usually not a big fan of buffets since it's all you can eat so they usually skimp out in quantity over quality. But Palace BBQ Buffet is great.
At one area there are heaps of raw meat, another, rice and soups, the third, a huge variety of kimchi and condiments, and another for misc. desserts, fruits, and other edibles.
You get the raw meat from the buffet grill it yourself on the hot metal surface at each table, suction domes on top of each surface suck up the greasy smoke.
It's pretty fun to cook your own food if you get to do it on a big metal surface...
