May or may not be important to you: Jake's is a counter service restaurant. You order at the counter and you pick up your food at the counter when it is ready. I normally dislike counter service but Jake's makes it easier with friendly helpful managers who take your order, pagers that tell you when your food is ready, and staff that cleans up your table for you (and everyone else's, so there are always clean tables ready). I dislike TVs in restaurants too, but they keep the volume reasonable. I especially like how clean everything is. Bathrooms are pristine, everything visible is clean so I imagine what you can't see is clean too. Menu is broader than you might expect. Besides pizza and burgers, there are hot and cold sandwiches, chicken dishes, pasta, even fondue and tira misu. Monday night is board games night, from 8pm until closing (supposedly midnight, but new management often chases us out earlier). Drop by and join us for a game!

Jakes is kind of a celebration place. Its kind of a place for guys to hang out. Sports teams come here often to celebrate something like the end of a season. They have a bar when you can watch a game. There is an arcade. They serve American food like Hotdog, Pizza, french fries. Its kind of a loud and exciting place, dont come looking for a romantic meal.
