I ate there yesterday after months of going past it. I had the shrimp with basil pasta which should be a safe play. In short; decent ingredients but poor, poor inedible execution. Overcooked pasta, put into a warming bin and served with an overpowering garlic cheese sauce and a cold dinner roll. SUCKED! Top it off with a rude staff and I don't see any reason to be happy about the $15 tab for one bowl of past and an iced tea. But the iced tea was great if only the rude staff had not served it. I won't be back.

If you live in or near Sunnyvale, CA and want really fresh food that is dependable, relatively inexpensive, fresh, and always served with love, go the Country Gourmet at the intersection of Fremont and Mary. I've been going there for years and have never had a bad meal or a bad experience. If you are looking for a place to have Saturday or Sunday brunch, look no further. They serve brunch until 2 pm on both days and their French toast is yummy! They have salads galore and specials everyday to tempt you and keep you coming back. They are just celebrating their 20th year in business and after a visit of two you will definitely know why. They do serve wine and beer if you want that, and I love their iced tea. I can't recommend them highly enough.

This is a casual restaurant with great food. I like the dinners, especially the desserts. The bread pudding is to die for. The breakfasts are also great......especially the spinach benedict. This is a good place to meet friends. Everyone can pay separately, and sit together. You order the food, and it is brought out to you. If someone is running late, the group can begin and someone can join you later. It's been a favorite of mine a long time.
