I just returned from a HORRIBLE dinner at this place. After biting into a tart, I had to spit it out because it tasted sour and stale. After looking closely at it, I saw MOLD on the tart. We had to deal with the staff for almost half an hour before they agreed to deduct my meal cost. They also told us to never go back. As if we need to be told. Horrible food and WORSE service.

Crazy Buffet is awesome (for those who actually like buffets.) People in the Bay Area are going crazy about this place. They have dinner for $15. It has everything but the major theme is seafood. YES! Seafood at a buffet. Unfortunately you know its not that great quality because 1: it is a buffet, and 2: its only $15. But you can get whatever you can imagine. My family usually pigs out on the giant crabs and like the 5 different varieties of shrimp. My favorite though is the sushi. Im in LOVE with sushi and here I can get as much of it as you want. You can see the guys behind the counter making your sushi so its fresh. However, they are Chinese, not Japanese. You will also get to try some interesting Chinese treats.

The food here is not as good as the other buffets in this area (such as super buffet and the other crazy buffet in san jose). The one area where this buffet excels is sushi, as it has more selection than the other buffets. However, the quality of the other food is just not good enough. The price is relatively the same as the other buffets (around $8 for lunch $16 for dinner, I'm not too sure)

Crazy Buffet is a modest Asian buffet located on El Camino Real. This restaurant offers quality Chinese and Japanese foods and some great desserts. Sushi, sashimi, and udon are just some of the all you can eat Japanese foods you can find. Countless Chinese foods like dumplings, chicken string beans, pork buns, and various seafoods line the buffet counters. The appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant was great, and the food was decent for the price.

The first time i went here, the line was out the door all the way to the parking lot but i decided to wait and the line actually moved pretty quick.
Once inside, i was amazed at the huge selection of food they had... SUSHI, tons of asian food such as chow mein, fried rice, soup, chicken, beef, pork, seafood, name it and they had it!
But everything i tried just didnt taste right... all the stir fried food such as kung pao chicken or mongolian beef was terribly greasy and basically swimming in vats of oil. The "fresh" seafood such as snow crab seemed to be sitting out a bit too long as they all had a bad smell to it and after one crab leg, i didn't want anymore.
The only thing that saved this place was their sushi. Obviously it's not authentic sushi but they had a decent selection and it was all prepared fresh since it was the most popular item.

Althought there's a lot to choose from, there's really not much you'd actually want to eat. You can tell that the food are cheaply made and over processed. I basically only filled up on the sushi rice.
The seafood didn't look too fresh. Stuffed mushrooms. fried rice, and all that other stuff were extremely greasy. The desserts weren't very chilled, and some desserts that were supposed to be hot (apple pie... giant pan of) were cold.
Sure $15 per person all you can eat is dirt cheap, but so are the food.

You definitly will get a full tummy in this place! Maybe a little TOO full. happens to me everytime. I love this place. lots of food, pretty good price. about 15 dollars per person. It has a wonderfull buffer full of crap, shrimp of every flavor, oyster (WOW!), scallops, vegetables, great desserts. But My personal favorite part is the SUSHI!
