These guys stock some awesome exercise equipment. Though they are expensive to buy, I like trying them out in the shop. If you go there, try out their elliptical, its a lot of fun. I bought a big set of weights here and they were awesome.. you could fix them up and make your own weights.. They also sell golf carts, tennis raquets etc. A very nice sports good shop. I usually check out both this place and Big5 which is across the street, and buy from the shop that gives me the better deal.

This is a miniature golf course and also an arcade.
The course is set up very nicely and its fun to play there especially during the night when its all lighted. Every hole is set up in a good design. They start simple and become more complex. A lot of fun.
There is also an arcade here with lots of vidoe games, pool, air hockey etc. You get tickets on winning that you exchange for knick knacks
They offer mid week and late evening (probably) specials.

I have been visiting this place for the last 10 years. They sell stuff from sleeping bags to exercise equipment. You could get very good deals during the frequent sales they put up. The quality of things you buy here are usually very good. The shoe section is usually a mess, but the folks who work here are very friendly and courteous. Recommended.

Sportmart is a gigantic sporting goods store located off of El Camino. This Costco-size retailer offers everything you can imagine that is related to sports. No matter what sport you play, no matter how rare, you can find equipment at Sportmart. Everything is very easy to find at this store, and they also sell clothes, shoes, and workout machines. Don't go anywhere else for sporting goods!

We recently attended a birthday party in Pump It up. They have several locations, but we went to the Sunnyvale location. Its a lot of fun and the kids had a great time. Its all indoors, but is not dim or dull and they not only have inflatable bouncers, they also have other fun games. The party room is quite big in size and not at all congested. Will definitely take the kids there again.

The Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course is a local golf course that I have used for years. It is conveniently located off of Maude near 101, 237 and Central. It is so close to Moffet Field that the planes use to fly very close
to the course on their approach. This course is not a difficult course. Just a relaxing play. They also have a pro shop located there. Cost to play is inexpensive.

Sunnyvale community center is located at remington dr and has lake around the place. Sunnyvale community center conducts different types of classes such as piano lessons, tap dancing etc.. it also had indoor games. I love going there during weekend to relax and play and walk around the lake and meet new people.

This is a really great library. This place is HUGE. it has everything! Old books, new books, reference books, fiction books. They have it all. They even have a pretty good selection of CDs, which is really unusual for a library. They have international CD's too. Great interational selection of books! They have a summer reading program for kids yeah, but they even have one for adults! The staff is really great, they are so nice and patient! When I was checking out a book I handed the guy the card to another library. He calmly asked me if I actually had a card to THIS library. They have a lot of the self check out machines so you are never left waiting which is really nice. What I really like about the library is the DVD selection, this you have got to see.

This is a great place to rock climb indoors. There are a variety of walls to try, and everyone from beginners to experts can have a good time. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Equipment is safe and carefully monitored. Planet Granite is a cool place for birthday parties and get-togethers too, pretty much for all ages.

well, if you ask me what's my favourite park in the area, i'll say that it's the sunnyvale skate park. i know most of you probably don't enjoy skateboarding, but i do. the park has a great atmosphere. i know one'd think you'd find a bunch of rowdy thugish punks at a skate park, but no. people here are nice, friendly, and responsible. the park is fun. there are two sets of bowls (a small one and a big one) and street features (like ledges, rails, stairs, etc.) it's fun.
