This restaurant draws huge crowds among the Indian population in the bay area. The food is good. However the service sometimes sucks. The waiters expect everyone to go for the buffet, so when we wanted to order food from the menu we received a lot of attitude from the waiter. He gave us strange stares, late service and even casually threw the check on our table. I tipped him 0 dollars and also wrote a note next to the check that their service sucked. I think they feel that customers will come no matter what and service can be bad.

I have been eating at Sneha pretty much from when it first opened, and I recently went back. The food is still the same good stuff, but the service is phenomenal. A lot of Indian restaurants have difficulty attending to their guests, but these folks really made the effort to always be around whenever you even raised your head to look for someone. While they were never too far, they were not intrusive. The food is average to good, a little on the saucy side of things, but they have a great selection. The place is low on frills and ambiance (cmon people, its a buffet), but it more than makes up for it with a wide array of deliciously spicy dishes.
