Sunnymount Produce at 1101 West El Camino Real in Sunnyvale is the only place I buy produce for my family. They get shipments directly from the farm daily. Their staff constantly checks their produce to ensure that none have gone bad. If they have then they move it to a discount shelf when you can purchase overripe items. All of the fruit and vegetables are the freshest. The staff can help you pick out items. They are knowledgeable of their produce. During the holidays, they have both ingredients and prepared goods to sell.

This is a good place for eating Indian lunch buffet. They serve both north indian and south indian food. The number of dishes that they serve in the buffet is the largest that i have see in indian restaurents in the area. The food tastes really good and the ambiance of the place is nice too. Good place for having a party as thay have a big private hall to rent out.

Nilgiris is under new ownership and management. It is probably the most authentic Indian store that caters to folks who live north of Sunnyvale. Its clean and bright. The produce is fresh. The prices, though not marked, upon investigation are very competitive. The shopping experience is very pleasant and doesn't make you feel sorry that you are Indian. The Pani Puri corner takes you back to College days in India. You can hang out there with your friends and linger without feeling claustrophobic. The collection of movies is great and for those of us whose only recourse was DeeDee's in Palo Alto, Nilgiri provides a viable and better alternative.

When you need to stock uo. India Cash and Carry is the place to go.
They have an AMAZING selection of vegetables.
All extremely fresh, and more importantly CLEAN.
They have tons of snack items, etc from India as well.
The pricing is better than most other places I have seen.
Downside is that lines can be long on the weekends. However, their cash registers are with FAST service.

This Indian grocery store has all the INdian spices that one would like to purchase. It has lot of INdian groceries including fresh vegetables. They also have small packets of Rotis for sale. Their snacks are very yummy. All are reasonably rated. Would recommend to my friends.

Hankook Supermarket is one of my favorite Korean supermarkets. This supermarket is clean. There are some cooked foods and plentiful products. Many products are imported from Korea. If you want to buy some Korea made clothes or stuff, Hankok is worthy to visit. Moreover, prices are reasonable. And some of product prices are cheaper than the other Korean supermarkets. Most of meat prices are cheaper than American supermarkets.

This is a great quick-stop place for picking up something quick, such as lotto ticket, snack, alcohol, etc.
If you don't want to stand in line at Safeway across the street then this is the palce to go for a quick pick up item.
HOWEVER, this clientelle is sometimes questionable. Meaning, i wouldn't go there at night on my own!
It is not like the prices are that low.

Drug Barn is a local pharmacy located on El Camino. It operates much like Longs Drugs, but it is not a chain. I found that Drug Barn's prices were a bargain, but what I didn't like was that a lot of their products were generic. Compared to Longs Drugs, Drug Barn doesn't put up good enough consistency for school supplies, candy, packaged foods, drinks, and other products. However, the pharmacy there is just as good.

Located in a small strip mall on Wolfe Rd, this small produce "stand" has lots of variety to satisfy most people. Their veggie selection is very good. Prices are at or below supermarket prices and are of good quality. One note is that the produce isn't the best looking (no shiny waxes or polish) but the quality is just as good and mostly better than the supermarket. As with all produce, do your research and be picky.
