Country Gourmet is what I used to wish the Good Earth was (but it never was). Simple, good, not too greasy food in a really nice atmosphere. It's kind of strange that you order before you sit down, but the restaurant acknowledges that, and even suggests (on a little card) that if we tip, we don't tip as we would for a full service restaurant. It suggests 5 to 7%. In any case, I could get used to a little quirkiness, I think, because the food is so good, and the ambience is so nice and relaxing.
Pros: Food, atmosphere
Cons: You have to order before you sit down, right by the entrance

This is a fine bar, but you need to carry some air freshener! My boyfriend and I were standing at the bar, and suddenly the cloud surrounded us. It was as if someone opened up the lid to the sewer and the gas permeated our area. We had to sprint up the stairs to get away from the flatulence someone let near the bar. We hid upstairs, playing darts, until we felt confident we could make it to the exit door without losing consciousness.
I guess the patrons shouldn't eat the bar food, because the emissions after the meal are rank. Bring your own darts, too, because the bar set is well worn.

As soon as I enter the restaurant, I was simply amazed. The atmosphere of this place is truly priceless. The design of the restaurant is very elegant and upscale, yet at the same time I feel like I can bring my entire family here. Somehow, it catches your eye for both a family and an upscale restaurant. They even have a beautiful garden in the rear of the restaurant to sit and eat. Not to mention a table outside for the view of the strip! This depending on the customer can be romantic or a pure entertainment. I event noticed a private room that can probably seat around 30 40 people. Along with the great food, it really brought a wonderful smile to my face. The service was amazing; all waiters were really friendly and eager to please. I even observed how they were dealing with other customers. There reaction, how the handled themselves and let me tell you the quality was there among all of them. Though I didnt know a thing about Mediterranean food, I - as any customer would ask the famous question "Well what do you recommended?" After a series of questions, they came to a recommendation of a lamb type dish. One word - Delicious! The presentation of this dish along with a great wine was a perfect balance to my taste buds. And not just me, as I got up to walk around and further more look over the place, being a chit chatter that I am, I managed to talk to some customers that were already eating there. There thoughts and remarks were all high caliber. Overall, this place really makes you want to come back for more. And trust me - as someone all the way from Union City (and these gas prices!) It's well worth it. As just a personal opinion, I think where you eat also set the mood for the next following event that takes place. People usually do a dinner and movie. And if you have a place that gives you great service, great food and a great smile then your next series of events will be pleasant. After eating there I just didnt want to go home! The excitement of this place completely took my restaurant experience to a much higher level. I highly recommend this place to anyone whos ready to be satisfied. Thank you Taverna!

This is a good place for eating Indian lunch buffet. They serve both north indian and south indian food. The number of dishes that they serve in the buffet is the largest that i have see in indian restaurents in the area. The food tastes really good and the ambiance of the place is nice too. Good place for having a party as thay have a big private hall to rent out.

Pasta Pomodoro is a small but new Italian Restaurant in the Cherry Orchard shopping center, close to Starbucks and Borders. The food is very good, and the servers are friendly. The atmosphere is a little noisy and there are many families, but overall, I would highly recommend it.
