Pasta Pomodoro is a small but new Italian Restaurant in the Cherry Orchard shopping center, close to Starbucks and Borders. The food is very good, and the servers are friendly. The atmosphere is a little noisy and there are many families, but overall, I would highly recommend it.

My boyfriend took me to Il Postale for Valentine's Day, and I was floored. The moment we walked in, the owner greeted us and made sure we were comfortable while we waited for a table. He said it'd take 30 minutes, but it only took 10. Our waiter treated us like good friends, joking around with us and making sure that we were taken care of throughout the meal. Sounds cheesy, but I was blown away, especially because they were so busy. The food was ordered and on our table within 10 minutes, and it was delicious. I had the baked rigatoni with Pinot Noir, and tiramisu for dessert.
I was most impressed by the fact that it was Valentine's Day -- every table was taken -- but they were still personable, precise, and relaxed. They must be incomparable on a slow night!
When we left, several members of the waitstaff said goodbye to us. If you're looking for a warm, familiar restaurant in a romantic setting, there is no choice but Il Postale. I will definitely be going back.

Tao Tao beef has got to be one of my most favorite foods on the planet! If you've never tried it before, you're missing out.
I can't get enough of the chicken salad here, and the sweet and sour pork, and although I don't personally like prawns that much, my friends have gotten into fights over the honey walnut prawns, so I guess they're good =)
They have a nice bar at Tao Tao's too. The Mai Tais are a favorite.

The original owner is back and the food is superb. Large menu. For under $16 your served soup or salad,fresh garlic bread,pasta with fresh pesto sauce, entree with veggies all in ample portions. Great pizza's to go in many sizes. I like the fresh halibut fillet and real veal marsala dinners. The ingredients are fresh.

I lived in Germany for a year and Hardy's is as good or better than some of the restaurants in Germany. It is the best German food by far in the Bay Area. Hardy's is a family must for our grown children when they are in town.

I tried calling ahead to get my order started ahead of time. No one answered the phone, but I went anyway. I was told my order will take about 15 min. While I waited, 4 customers came after me, and got their food before I ever saw mine. 25 min. later I asked if my order was coming up. Instead of apologizing, the person at the counter had an attitude, and told me that my order was just being started! After 25 min!!! If my friends were not depending on me for dinner, I would not have waited and would have demanded a refund.
This has not been the first time that their service is pathetically slow. Since day one this place can't get it together.
I must say the food is very good, but it's not worth the wait.
Pros: good food
Cons: horrible service that takes for EVER
