If you're ever in/around downtown Sunnyvale, I would highly recommend that you stop by and visit Leigh's Favorite Books. They also happen to be pet friendly, so Fido is welcome to join you while you browse their collection.
Although their selection is not huge, they do have an ecclectic collection of both new and used populat titles. The staff is always very friendly/helpful, and their late hours make it a great place to visit after dinner or coffee.

The store itself isn’t bad, and it has a decent selection for it’s modest size, but I wouldn’t advise your trying to trade or sell books here, if you’re in the market for such a thing. The book buyer that I dealt with consistently offered very under-market amounts for items that I knew would be sold for four or five times as much. And this same thing has happened to several other people I know who frequently buy, sell, and trade books. So shop there if you must, but don’t take books there to sell or trade for store credit. Caveat emptor!
