I have never actually bought anything at this store because I have no one to buy all the cute little things for, but I have wandered inside since I have lunch in that complex every other day. You walk in and everything is so cute (Duh, baby clothes!) The good thing about it I noticed is that everything is a bit cheaper then buying at toher places. This is because most of the stuff is second hand (but they do have new things that stores cant sell so they just donate, kind of like places like Goodwill.) Things were very clean, obviously necessary in order for it to be for a baby. But great little store in the Leohman's Plaza on Homestead Road next to Round table and Longs Drugs. I recommend it to all new parents.

Before you buy kids' clothing anywhere else, come look here. They specialize in buying used upscale and boutique clothing in very good condition. You can depend on finding very high quality clothing in great shape when you come here--this place will spoil you for all other used kids' clothing stores. They will also buy your good quality children's apparel, but only if it's in impeccable condition.
They provide excellent customer service, but be warned it can get busy if you come around lunchtime. The store is very well-organized and clean. Highly recommended for discriminating parents.

The Smiling Frog is a beautiful store. It is large, clean, well organized well lit. The owners are extremely friendly and they offer a frequent purchase discount card. Like all consignment stores, what they have depends on the day you go in. The do carry lote of nicer, higher end brands but they also have a lot of crap. I'm always surprised to see pilled and faded clothes on the rack that don't really look consignment worthy. They should pull out the higher end stuff for seperate racks.

I've personally never shopped in this store, since we have no toddlers and kids in our household. But when my aunt brought my little cousin from, not here, she wanted to get her some new clothes and this is where I suggested.
This is sort of like a thrift boutique for little kid clothes. Some stuff are new and some are used. You can also sell your kid's clothes there, I've found out.
My aunt got a few unique pieces for my baby cousin, who's a brat anyway and would proceed to puke all over them. But it's all good, since everything was pretty cheap.

the owners at the smiling frog are really nice, they buy and sell good quality stuff, and they just moved so now they have a bigger location, meaning more large items such as playpens and strollers. I do find that you have to keep checking (as with other consignment shops) and it's always hit or miss, but if you need a cute dress or shoes for one special occasion, why buy something brand new for $50 when you can find something cute for 1/2 that!
