I have been going to the Zoku team for the last 3 years, and was so excited when they opened their salon in Summit, NJ. The facility is clean, hip, and relaxing.
I've recently been getting my hair colored by Isak who was for many years Zoe's assistant, and what else can I say about Isak except, I LOVE HIM. I made the mistake last summer of going to two other well known salons in NYC where I was not at all happy with my results. SO i knew it was time to fly back to the nest, I booked with Isak and Christine, and couldnt be more satisified. I am a blonde, which is difficult to get right, but, with Isak it NEVER fails-colored to perfection. He creates a look that is natural, bright, and and even, perfectly matching the color to my skin tone. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! You won't be disappointed!
Which ever stylest you choose to see at ZOKU, will produce a beautiful outcome. I have now seen Zoe, Christine and Irene, and have yet to have an unpleasant experience. They all have a gift for individually fitting your style, understanding your hairtype and make you feel like a rockstar. I am so thankful to be a client at ZOKU, I'll never go anywhere else.

They have the best Italian food around. I was amazed by hospitality that they portrayed. I had a wonderful dinner date here. The prices were absolutely great and the portions of food will have you taking a doggy bag home! They blew my expectations away I definitely would recommend them for a Saturday night out.

This is my favorite summer spot. The have lots of different ice cream and frozen treats to choose from. Their best product is their soft serve vanilla ice cream. Its great on a cone (especially with their chocolate dip-yum!) or in a magic blend (ice cream with your choice of candy mixed in). Be prepared to wait though, the line can be long and they are not the fastest workers. If you can get their between the family rush and the high school rush, its not so bad. But don't worry, its worth the wait!

I have been pleased with the selection of music pieces for different instruments and the ability to special order items not available in the store. Information on availability obtained by calling the store is always correct and the given for obtaining specially ordered items has proved accurate. Parking is always a bit of a problem in Summit so I usually call and order if necessary before coming.

I'm prompted to write a review only because of what someone wrote here (and it sure sounds like one person rather than two...). I have been in this store probably 100 times in the past 20 years and never once have I witnessed anything but respectful, friendly and helpful service. This business does things that I can't find done anywhere else within the tri-state area, and they do it excellently every time. It's very disappointing to see a good business get trashed by an anonymous person with whatever agenda going on, a big problem with the internet...

Traveling upon the hidden oasis of the Summit florist is like stumbling upon a hidden ancient burial ground. Not only are the flowers extremely beautiful and well groomed the staff is second to none. I would highly reccomend this florist for all your floral needs. The prices for the florals are also extremely good.

This is my favorite diner in the area. The service has always been good and it is so large that I've rarely had to wait for a table. Some of the other diners in the area a little too small. I love their sweet potato fries, omlettes and hamburgers. They also have a full bar if you want to have a drink with your meal. No complaints here!
