More reputation than fact 4/19/2007

Rom's is the place to be in Sturbridge and I can't quite figure out why. The food is okay, the service is okay, the location is okay. But why settle for okay? I have no idea but I actually go there myself from time to time and I found the stuffed peppers to be quite good, better in fact than any Italian dish I have ever gotten there. Go figure. SO I guess you need to go once so when people ask have you been to Rom's you can say yes, after that you may want to consider some place else if you want good Italian food. more

Great family place 9/16/2005

Rom's is located in Sturbridge. It has an attached seasonal icecream stand and function rooms. This is a great restaurant for large gatherings, families, etc. The portion are medium to large, prices are very reasonable. They offer cheese & crackers to all. Not unbelievable food, but good food for agood price. more

Italian Food 8/18/2005

Rom's is a LARGE Italian restaurant with an ice cream bar attached. This is a great restaurant for children, large families. If you want a LOT of good Italian food for a reasonable price, this is a place to go. They also do large functions and have separate rooms. It is hard to get in on a Friday or a Saturday night without a reservation but it is possible if you don't mind standing in l ine. They have cheese and crackers (gratis) to start and good garlic bread. The portions are large and well worth the wait. Not award-winning, but good. more
