A few of my Japanese and American friends recommended this place, and I went there with three other people. Three of us were Japanese, and the others had lived in Japan over 4 years. Unfortunately, none of us felt this place was great. Maybe our expectations were higher than what it should have been. Knowing that there are much better restaurants in West LA, Torrance, Gardena, and downtown, Daichan will be one of our last choices for Japanese food in the future.

Daichan has amazing home-stule Japanese food that is always fresh and tasty. It's not expensive, and the waiters and chef couldn't be nicer!
