Like all LA folks, we love sushi. However, we like the cooked stuff...not sashimi. We like special rolls, with all the good sauces, etc. Shiki is located in a strip mall near Jerry's Famous Deli in Studio City. Restaurant is in the very end of the driveway. There is plenty of free parking, but the spaces are small so be careful if you like your paint. The resturant has a large outside patio and the inside has about 10-15 tables plus the counter. It's a nice, regular sushi place. The waitresses are nice, not overlly friendly, but nice enough for a "nice" meal. The rools are excellent. Especially Rolls Royce roll, Fried scallop roll, and the Shiki Roll. Prices are standard $8-12. Beer, wine and Saki only. They open for Dinner at 5:00 and I suggest reservations for weekends...it gets VERY crowded!!!
