Cafe Aroma is an amazing coffee shop, it has tons of personality, great food, a good atmosphere, and a book store in the back with all sorts of neat things. The garden-chic look makes you feel at home. It is frequented by industry types ans you never know who you might find here, but not in a pretentious way. Its not a place to be seen, just a place to be.

This is charming, social gathering place in the "Tujunga Village" section of Studio City. Amazing coffees, teas, panini, salads, and baked goods. This unique cafe has a bookstore within it (Portrait of a Bookstore), huge leafy patios decorated with shabby-chic and backyard furniture, and a friendly vibe. You'll want to hang out the for a long time -- which you can, because conveniently they're open until 11 pm every night.
I usually go for the house salad (large portion of greens, radishes, and carrots with a tasty house vinaigrette), but every now and then I succumb to the Aroma Fries and the grilled-cheese panini. My meat-eating friend finds the burgers very good. And we just had one of the best cakes ever there -- try the Strawberry Shortcake.
