This place is just too cool and they have all the makings for a night of belly aching laughter!!! Based on
the famous 50's diner it is laden with relentless
surprizes. Our family went out for pizza and came
home with lots of memories. Here's the thing...In
the women's bathroom is this tall Indian statue with
a piece of cloth over it's loins (this is true and no
joke). Well if a woman pulls it up to look under it
sirens go off in the restaurant where everybody knows
what you did while you were in there. Immediately
this sets off a thunder of Laughter and whisperings
and finger pointing as you return to your table from
the ladies room. Well you can imagine how many
times those sirens went off while we were eating;
don't tell me women aren't curious (LOL)! What's
great is to bring someone who has never been there.
And yes, the food is pretty decent, too!

It's a great Italian restaurant! They have wonderful steak and zip sauce for the gentleman, and great pasta and chicken dishes for the ladies (and men). Also, they have the best seasoned bread in town. The price is not bad, and the food tastes great. The only con is that they drag on dinner, but they are very nice waiters.

I recently tried the Fudd Burger at Fuddruckers on Van Dyke. It was really good and huge. Had to finish my burger at home. The restaurant has a hip feel to it and a perfect place to go to relax after work. Also heard through the grapevine that you get a free burger on your birthday with ID. Can't wait till mine comes up!

I live 60 miles away from Gator Jakes, and the second time I went was a week or so ago, then I took my left overs home and shared with my visiting Pastor and daughter. My husband had the opportunity to taste left overs the first time, and we all loved it so much, now I am ordering one of their specials dishes to take back to Flushing, MI. It must be worth it special delivery for special food. Thank you Gator Jakes!

They may not have the "down home" feel of a Millers, Redcoat Tavern, or the like, but they do have great burgers. Although I still prefer the Mom and Pop places, this is absolutely the best chain restaurant burger that you can get!

What a whirlwind of things to look at from your childhood, while enjoying a feast of crab. They have great childrens menus and the kids love to look at all the things hanging from the ceilling. Great fun!! Good Food!! Many different drinks to try. They also have a playscape outside for the kids. Great family restaurant.

The Orange Peel Restaurant is so small that it's easy to pass up if you are
not looking closely but you may get a hint of where it is at because there is
a line of people standing outside waiting for their turn to get in. This is during
breakfast hours. They are nestled in the Red Run Plaza on 15 Mile Road and
Schoenherr and there is two neon signs shining "Shish Kebob" & "coney Island" in the window. Once inside the pretty grecian wallpaper is worn and
ripped with age but adorn the walls. Right above your booth you will see a
fake hanging basket and now you are sure that all those people in line are here because of the superb cooking. They have tons of omelettes to choose
from so I was in my bit of eden for the hour. I chose the western omelette with hugh chunks of meat and potato. You get a side order of your favorite
toast. After eating, I forgot about the lame decorations of this little spot and
told the chef that I totally loved his cooking and would be back soon as they
do have the best darn omelette's around!
